I guess a.) they were tired of people like me and Matt getting rid of them ourselves through unconventional means, b.) they we're growing tired of the complaints that their Adsense results turned out to be grossly different from the actual content of the page in many cases (such as "vote bush" links being displayed on an anti bush page), and c.)Blogger is just frickin' awesome.
